Open air, with the beach below and the Pacific in front of you. Lounge seating, the Courtyard Bar, canapés and a chef’s station.
Limited cover, so we agree a wet weather plan with you in advance.

How the room sits
Entrance from the hotel lobby at the host desk, or from Arden Street beside the Terrace. The dining room runs along the ocean side, with the Terrace and the Courtyard Bar beyond the host desk. Not to scale. Layouts change for each event, so ask us for a seating plan for your numbers.
MENUS AND PRICING
Four-course choice menu
$120 a person, seated, from 20 guests. Sourdough and oysters to the table, then each guest chooses their entrée, main and dessert.
Sharing menu
$100 a person for two courses, $120 for three, from 20 guests. Three choices a course, served to the table to share.
Canapés
$28 a person for three choices, $46 for five, $64 for seven, from 20 guests. Substantial pieces and sweet things available.
Beverage packages
Premium from $69 and Deluxe from $89 a person for two hours. Soft drinks included. Non-alcoholic package from $39.
Children
Welcome at lunch and early dinner. A two-course children’s menu is $50.

The practical details
The questions we are asked most.

Groups of 9 to 20 dine on the four-course choice menu or a set menu built for the group. Twenty or more can take the sharing menu or canapés. Under nine, book a table and order à la carte.

The chef’s table seats eight to twelve and the snug seats six. Exclusive use of the restaurant, the Terrace, or both is available.

Minimum spends apply to exclusive use and may apply to the chef’s table, the snug and some dates. We confirm the figure for your date when you enquire.

Gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and non-seafood options sit on every menu. Tell us about allergies with your final numbers and we will take care of them.

Children are welcome at lunch and early dinner. A two-course children’s menu is $50.

Bring a cake. We plate and serve it with cream for $5 a person, waived when your menu includes dessert. Simple table decorations and place cards are welcome. Confetti, glitter and anything fixed to walls are not.

Microphones, screens and sound are supplied by our AV partner, Microhire. We put you in touch with their team and the hire is charged in addition to your menu.

Lunch functions from 12pm. Dinner functions from 6pm.

We sit within the InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach, so your guests can stay where they dine. Ask us about accommodation for your group.

242 Arden Street, Coogee. Come in through the hotel lobby or straight off Arden Street. Parking at the InterContinental is a flat $20 for all function guests.

A deposit of 50 per cent of the minimum spend secures your date. Menu selections, final numbers and final payment are due seven days before your event.

No surcharges apply to exclusive use bookings. The Terrace has limited cover, so for every Terrace booking we agree a wet weather plan with you in advance.
Anything we have not covered, ask us when you enquire. Nothing is too small.
